1. Cedar Point Amusement Park:

One of the best amusement parks anywhere in the world, Cedar Point lies on a peninsula jutting out into Lake Erie. Nested within the park are seventeen roller coasters, with the outright frightening Top Thrill Dragster, the second-fastest and second-tallest roller coaster in the world; and the notorious Millennium Force. Of all the family shows rides and attractions at Cedar Point, this was not an easy task to choose which place would give action-filled day activities.

2. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame:

Located in Cleveland lies the storied Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The history of rock & roll music is covered in depth in this interactive museum, from its early origins to the current hot chart-toppers. Explore displays honoring legendary performers and bands, see instruments and artifacts, and even pick on an electric guitar.

3. Hocking Hills State Park:

Hocking Hills State Park is nearly a paradise for outdoorsmen, located way down in southeast Ohio. This park has some amazing landscapes: gorges, waterfalls, caverns, and rock formations are the main constituents of this region. Name it: hiking, camping, rappelling, kayaking—you name it. It all culminates in a feather in the cap for the Old Man's Cave, where a cascade forms an arc through a verdant cliff.

4. National Museum of the United States Air Force:

Situated near Dayton, the National Museum of the United States Air Force is a haven for those who love aeronautics. This massive 87-acre museum holds more than 900 aircraft and missiles, which range from the Wright Brothers' gliders to the latest fighting aircraft, in their efforts to document military aviation. Historic aircraft, such as a B-17 bomber and a Presidential DC-9, are housed in enormous hangars.

5. A Christmas Story House:

Fans can catch a visit to Cleveland's A Christmas Story House museum, where they're invited to recreate some of their favorite holiday movie moments from "A Christmas Story". For example, the actual house from the movie has been converted into a museum with all of its original furniture, including the infamous leg lamp. And so far, that's in addition to their list of activities for guests: tours of the house, viewing the Bumpus family station wagon and even getting a chance to match their aim with a dummy Red Ryder BB rifle.

6. Cincinnati Museum Center:

The Cincinnati Museum Center is made up of three museums: the Cincinnati Art Museum, the Museum of Natural History & Science, and the Cincinnati History Museum. The Cincinnati History Museum interprets the past of the region; the Cincinnati Art Museum houses a gigantic collection of art from all over the world. The Museum of Natural History & Science explains the world of nature with its exhibitions of dinosaurs and mummies.

7. Put-in-Bay:

Situated on South Bass Island in Lake Erie lies the vacation village known as Put-in-Bay. One of the more well-liked summer resorts in the area is this island escape, which offers a vibrant nightlife, stunning scenery, and historical landmarks. Water sports adventures include fishing and boating, kayaking, golf, dining establishments, pubs, and a variety of unique businesses, to name a few. Last but not least, the War of 1812's Battle of Lake Erie is honored at Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial.

8. Pro Football Hall of Fame:

Any soccer lover, undoubtedly, must be able to go to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, which is located in Canton, Ohio. The museum pays tribute to the great players, coaches, and teams while bringing back memories of a bygone era of professional football. It traces the history of the game, Hall of Fame busts, and even a virtual reality football-throwing experience.

9. Toledo Museum of Art:

The Toledo Museum of Art, situated in Toledo, has a fine collection of art that stretches from ancient Egyptian artifacts to European and American masters like El Greco, Rembrandt van Rijn, and Claude Monet. This museum offers an aesthetically pleasing view of a very eclectic mix of art. Other good options for photography, decorative arts, and glass art displays are also available in this museum.

10. Amish Country:

You will have to go to northeastern Ohio's Amish Country to see life at an earlier and simpler level. Besides providing insight into Amish history and culture, this region offers horse-drawn buggy excursions across the countryside, farms, and stores selling their wares. Traditionally, the greater majority of the Amish support their belief through the way they live and dress.
