The Spider-Man movie franchise began with Tobey Maguire in 2002, starring in Spider-Man from Sam Raimi. Raimi — who is now aboard the MCU boat, directing a new version of the same hero in Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness — went onto direct two more movies before passing the baton to Marc Webb and Andrew Garfield. In the past five years, Spider-Man’s undergone a lot of changes, joining the MCU’s Avengers and even introducing spin-offs like Spider-Ham and Spider-Man Noir. Sadly, none of the Spider-Man movies are currently streaming on big platforms like Disney+ or Netflix. What Spider-Man movies are coming out soon?

There are two Spider-Man movies on the horizon: Spider-Man: No Way Home, as well as a sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. No Way Home will release Dec. 17 this year, with Spider-Verse 2 eyeing an Oct. 7, 2022 release date. Both of those will be theatrical, however, so don’t plan on streaming them online anytime soon.
