Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Beta Coming in September

There's been a ton of publicity for the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Acting similarly to how 2019's Modern Warfare was a reboot of the original game, Modern Warfare 2 will also expand on elements from the 2009 title. For instance, the infamous No Russian mission from Modern Warfare 2 will again be making an appearance, with the exception of this time the campaign level will be considerably more disturbing than its original version. Of course, this is nevertheless one among many changes and updates the remastered Modern Warfare 2 will bring when it launches not long from now.

Energetic fans are hoping they will not need to hold on until the official day for kickoff to be ready to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and rumors of a beta have been circulating since Activision first uncovered the shooter.

Essentially, this would give fans around one month between the beta ending and Modern Warfare 2's release date. Also, according to RalphValves, August will still have some significance with regards to Modern Warfare 2. But, rather than it being when fans first get their hands on the game, it will instead be a month for multiplayer reveals, events, and new information dropping.

Considering the previous release date of Modern Warfare 2, many fans expected that a beta would send off prior in the year as well. Some even wished for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 to have numerous betas, so fans could get some initial thoughts about the game before send off. With the beta dropping so late compared to the release date, it seems Activision may be aiming for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta to act more as a soft send off than anything else. Notwithstanding, that is just the case should these rumors be valid, and fans will just get confirmation on that from the developers.
