In the last month, Oppo has rolled out the limited Android 12 version for the Oppo Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro in India and Indonesia.

We can say that the company had a good reputation and performance in the world. After all, within a month, it has decided to release the stable version of Color OS 12 builds for the selected smartphone variants.

According to the company, the stable build means that Oppo managed, or at least it believes, to fix all the remaining bugs which have come up with the early access build. 

After all, these are 2020 variant smartphones, Oppo Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro are getting the update. According to the Company’s official announcement post on Oppo Community, the OS build upgrade will be available for the following models:

• OPPO Reno 3 Pro (India & Indonesia)

• Reno 3 (China)

• OPPO Reno 3 (Indonesia)

According to the reports, the Color OS 12 update will be available soon on smartphone devices. The point to be worth noting is that the Oppo Reno 3 Pro variant in China has already received the update and is running on the latest Android 12 firmware.

Check your smartphone, if it is eligible for the update & make sure your Oppo Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro (Indonesia / India Variants) are running on the firmware C.23 version or above.

In case, your phone is a Chinese variant and is still running on Android 11, make sure that you are running firmware version C.14. If you meet the mentioned requirements, the update will be available on your smartphone in no time.

To check if the update is available on your smartphone, you will need to navigate to settings > Software Updates to download and install the firmware update on your device. The OTA software builds for these variant smartphones are available batch-wise. Due to this, some users will get the update immediately. However, other users will have to wait for a few more days until the update arrives.
